I am so excited and honored to continue as a member of the Mustang Family at Las Colinas Elementary School and transition from assistant principal to principal.
I have a double Master in Child Development and School Administration. I taught middle school math at Odom Academy in Beaumont ISD, math and science at Dan D. Rogers Elementary School in Dallas ISD, as well as math and science at Carrollton Elementary School in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. The call for administrative leadership came along right here, in CFBISD. 
My husband Bala, is a senior principal architect with a degree in computer engineering. We have two girls. Our firstborn is a pediatric cardiologist getting ready to begin her fellowship in the same field at Baylor Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. My secondborn works with Deloitte, having graduated from McCombs School of Business at UT Austin, majoring in computer science and management information systems. The most important and adorable member of our family is Rusky, our Pomapoo.
I would like to make one promise for sure: to put my best foot forward to learn and lead and to work in collaboration with each one of you for the success of those young minds who walk through the doors of CFBISD at Las Colinas and then out into the real world. 
If you need anything at all, please know my door is always open. I look forward to seeing our young Mustangs learn and grow each academic year.
