Kacie's Run

Kacie's Run is an annual 5K and 1-mile Family Fun Run hosted by Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD (CFBISD) to honor the legacy of Kacie Brekhus, a former R.L. Turner High School student who was passionate about supporting Special Olympics athletes. Established in 1999, the event raises funds for the CFBISD All Stars Special Olympics team, enabling over 280 students from early childhood through high school to participate in sports like bowling and track and field at no cost. The run not only fosters inclusion and community spirit but also empowers students with special needs to build confidence and form lasting friendships through athletic competition.

·       Registration Opens: 7:00 AM

·       1-Mile Fun Run: 8:30 AM

·       5K Run: 9:00 AM

·       Awards: 10:00 AM

·       5K Run (shirt & bib): $20.00 + $2.20

·       1-Mile Fun Run (shirt): $15.00 + $1.90
Ms. K and I will be walking!

·       Sleep-In Option (shirt): $15.00 + $1.90

·       Ages 0–18: $10 for any event

·       Register by Feb. 20 to guarantee shirt size
